John Lloyd Cruz and Joross Gamboa have worked on various Kapamilya primetime series in the past. That is why it isn’t surprising to hear that the two stars established a strong bond and consider each other as close friends. In an interview by PEP with Joross last week, he was asked about his reaction to the controversies involving his friend and Ellen Adarna. He admitted that as a man, he doesn’t want to intervene on the issue.
Wala talaga.”

According to the actor, he isn’t in a position to express his opinions regarding how rightful it is for John Lloyd to marry Ellen.
So wala akong pakialam.”
Joross added that even though he is a good friend of Angelica Panganiban, John Lloyd’s ex-girlfriend, he will still support the actor’s decision.
John Lloyd and Joross worked together on the now-defunct Kapamilya primetime series “La Luna Sangre”. According to the latter even before they started shooting for the drama, John Lloyd opened up to him about his plans in the future.
“Plano na talaga niya mag-retire this year. Magpa-farm nga siya.”
Joross Gamboa assumed that his friend was probably planning on producing films in the future.
