This guy turned a shipping container to a wine cellar with $ 12,500!

If you really love those Do-It-Yourself or DIY videos about people making small spaces  into something much more awesome, you probably already know about the potential of shipping containers! Simple yet spacious, and obviously very durable, its use is just as broad as what your imagination would allow it.

Actually, in the Philippines, there’s even a hostel that uses repurposed shipping containers. Located in La Union, Vessel Hostel is a place where you can get a weekend getaway and a new experience altogether!

This guy had different plans though as he turned his shipping container into a functioning underground wine cellar bunker.

How did he do it? Well, he did have 12,500 dollars but he did it mostly all by himself and his trusty tractor.

How did he do it? Well, for starters, he dug a deep and wide hole in the ground.

Finally, he completed the package with ventilation, a staircase, and even soil on top of the shipping container bunker to make it a little bit incognito, and he’s done!

Well, of course, he had to stockpile on plenty of wine and maybe some other stuff but after that, it looked amazing!
