Thinking Pinoy calls out ‘discriminating’ condominium in Mandaluyong

Thinking Pinoy may have a bad rep on social media, but his recent Facebook post has earned nods from thousands of netizens — including his own critics.

Yesterday, on May 10, page handler RJ Nieto called out a seemingly elitist condominium in Mandaluyong. Apparently, one of the condo’s house rules prohibited service crew members (i.e. maids, drivers, delivery personnel, and the like) from using the main elevator.

As seen in the attached snapshot, the building has a service elevator intended only for select people.

In a time when society has finally committed to living progressively, it isn’t hard to see what was wrong in this particular rule. Nieto wrote:

According to Thinking Pinoy, if the residents didn’t want to engage with the staff, then they shouldn’t have hired them in the first place
