GMA Talent Addy Raj Recalls Journey As Kapamilya Newbie

GMA actor Addy Raj recounted his humble beginnings through an Instagram post. He revealed that not a day goes by that he does not remember his days as a singer in a now defunt ABS-CBN entertainment program, “I Love OPM” where Lani Misalucha was one of the judges and Anne Curtis was the main host.

Addy recalled the time when he was still a singer in the mentioned program.

“Nagsimula ang showbiz career ko sa isang singing competition kung saan isa sa mga judges si Lani Misalucha. Nagkita kami kahapon sa taping ng The Clash, kung saan isa ulit siya sa mga judges.”

Addy then remembered that he saw other contestants crying and then he looked back at his own experiences. He said that he really wanted to approach them to tell them that things will be fine. He also wanted to tell them at it is not yet the end of life when they lose in the competition.

“Nakita ko din yung ibang eliminated contestants na umiiyak at naalala ko yung mga nangyari sa akin dati. Gusto ko silang lapitan at yakapin para sabihing, ‘Magiging okay din ang lahat. Hindi pa katapusan ng mundo kapag natalo ka sa isang reality show competition.’ Tuloy lang ang buhay at may mga darating na bago at mas magandang opportunities sa inyo.’” He added.

Addy then thanked Lani for being humble and he is also thankful because the veteran singer can still recognize him.

Sobra pala akong nagulat na naaalala pa ako ni Ms. Lani, at naaalala niya ang pangalan ko sa dami ng contestants na jinudge niya! Medyo matagal na panahon na ang lumipas pero parang mas lalo yatang bumabata si Ms. Lani!”
