In the August 23, 2018 episode of Bitag Live, a serious Ben Tulfo was witnessed by viewers as he expressed his concern for his broadcasting colleague, Mike Enriquez.
The tough-talking broadcaster first explained how he and Enriquez met in the broadcasting industry and how much he respects the man who once became his mentor during his earlier days in the radio broadcasting world.
Late 70s and early 80s, senior ko po si Mike Enriquez sa larangan ng radio broadcasting, pagging disc jockey,” Tulfo said adding that he and Enriquez also once sponsored a wedding of a common friend.
He then went straight to the point and wished Enriquez’s fast recovery from his illness.
Agarang pag-galing para sa’yo, kaibigang Mike!” he said.

It could be recalled that recently, Enriquez and Tulfo had an exchange of tirades after Enriquez repeatedly lambast Tulfo on his radio program when the controversial advertisement deal between the Department of Tourism and Tulfo’s media team came to light.
Tulfo’s statement prompted after Enriquez released an official statement explaining his sudden absence on his radio and TV programs.
During his radio program at dzBB on August 22, Enriquez revealed that he has been missing in action in his regular programs as he just filed a medical leave to pay attention to his kidney condition and prepare for his upcoming bypass operation.
In an interview with 24 Oras, the 66-year-old broadcaster explained that his kidney illness is hereditary and advised his listener and viewers not to worry much about his condition.
The veteran broadcaster also expressed his gratitude for the public’s support and prayer for his health.
